Looking back: Technology at the 2010 National Scout Jamboree
At the 2010 National Scout Jamboree last July, as I sat down and typed out a blog post for Scouting magazine's site, I wasn't thinking about the wireless network that allowed me to post those words and pictures. I was only thinking about how much fun I was having at my fourth jamboree and how…

Even amid the chaos of more than 4,000 visitors a day, there was something peaceful about Fish Hook Lake, the spot at the jamboree for amateur anglers to get their fix. How about a little something to fill that post-jamboree emptiness? This event was by far the most-connected jamboree in history. Hundreds of thousands of videos, photos, blog posts, Tweets, Facebook updates, and text messages were sent out of Fort A.P.
I was watching the shining light concert from the BSA National Jamboree at Fort A.P Hill, and I was thinking about some of the people that should be heroes or at least friends of the BSA.
