Have you read it yet? If not, you should. The plot is riveting. The characters are interesting. The story's climax will leave you waiting for the sequel. Okay, okay. The Guide To Safe Scouting (G2SS) is not quite that exciting, but it is a good book that every Cub Pack and Boy Scout Troop leader…

I posted this photograph of Adiero 's octopod cloverleaf lashing at Kontiki. Here is the formwork needed to support it while tying the lashing (thanks to Louise from Adiero for the explanation): The vertical pole is a stake that supports the stack of poles to be lashed.
2 Vote On Idea Launch a biggest looser competition between councils nation wide for staff members of the Council. Winning Council has a cash prize for each member of the Council. This will unite Council staff and set a tone for our Physically Strong Scout Oath for our next Centennial.
3 Vote On Idea I would suggest that we collaborate with another outfitter to license and sell official Venturing pants and shorts. The cost for our current Venturing switchbacks is obscene-$59.95! Not long ago, we would say "we can't do that because others are made off-shore".
If you have visited the site today you may have noticed a change in the theme. There is a reason for this. Recently, Google Inc. contacted me about acquiring my blog and integrating it as a scouting based blog aggregator.
